The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced About strategic plans to increase the productivity of the General Company for Or, which specializes in the manufacture of cables, electrical wires and aluminum, confirming the modernization of production lines in response to the increasing demand .
Ministry of Industry spokeswoman Dhuha Al-Jubouri said: “Ur General Company is working on developing its production lines for aluminum sections and sheets, in response to the increasing demand for these products based on the directives of the Minister of Industry and Minerals, Khaled Batal Al-Najm .”
She explained that “the Ministry has developed strategic plans to modernize production lines and increase the production capacity of aluminum sections and sheets, given their direct importance to the citizen and their good and rapid financial returns .”
She added, “Or Company has taken several steps in this regard, including updating production lines, bringing in new lines, and increasing the production capacity of aluminum sheets and sections, which led to a significant increase in sales during the past period .”
Al-Jubouri revealed that “the company has contracted to bring in a production line with a capacity of 900 tons, in addition to a production line for manufacturing aluminum bars,” noting that “these lines were fully financed from the company’s revenues, and they are scheduled to be installed in the first months of 2025. “
She stressed that “the Ministry’s policy aims to develop production lines and maximize financial resources, while continuously searching for new plans and innovating unconventional methods, which has had a positive impact on the development of production and sales at the Ur General Company, especially with regard to aluminum sections.”
