The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced yesterday , Saturday, that an employee at its embassy in Damascus died of wounds after his car was shot last Sunday .
In a statement, the Iranian Foreign Ministry held the transitional government in Damascus “responsible for identifying and prosecuting the perpetrators of the attack on the employee .”
The Foreign Ministry added that Tehran will follow up on the employee’s killing “seriously through diplomatic and international channels.”
