A government source revealed yesterday , Saturday, that 3 power stations were out of service due to the decline in Iranian gas supplies, while confirming that a number of areas in the central governorates were affected .

confirmed that “the Bismayah, Al-Sadr and Al-Mansouriyah stations went out of service as a result of the decline in gas supplies from Iran to significant levels during the past few days .”

He added that “a number of areas in the capital, Baghdad, and the governorates have seen a decline in the hours of electricity supply,” noting that “the Mirsad and Sirpol Zahab power lines have been witnessing outages during the past hours, and large areas of Diyala Governorate, which depends on the two lines, have been affected by them.”
