A responsible military source reported that tents have been set up for hundreds of Syrian soldiers entering Iraqi territory and their needs have been provided without any decision being made regarding their fate at the present time .
The source said, “There is no decision regarding soldiers entering Iraq so far.”
According to the source, “tents were set up for them near the Iraqi Al-Qaim border crossing, and food, drink, clothing, and other daily needs and necessities were provided .”
An Iraqi military source reported that hundreds of Syrian army personnel withdrawing from the ongoing fighting with armed factions have entered Iraqi territory, specifically through the Al-Qaim border crossing in the west of the country.
