A security source reported yesterday , Sunday, that two ISIS members were killed in an airstrike carried out by Iraqi aircraft in Salah al-Din .

The source confirmed “The Iraqi Air Force carried out an airstrike on the locations of a number of ISIS elements in the Al-Aith area in Salah al-Din .”

The source added, “The successful airstrike resulted in the killing of 4 ISIS elements, as a preliminary result .”

For its part, the Joint Operations Command confirmed, in a statement, that military intelligence had monitored, after technical monitoring and surveillance that lasted for days, a terrorist detachment in the Al-Aith area within the Salah al-Din Operations Command sector .

According to the command statement, following this accurate information, the Air Falcons carried out a strike on this detachment using F-16 aircraft, which resulted in the killing of (4) terrorists, including the so-called commander of the Salah al-Din sector, nicknamed (al-Bazi), in addition to the destruction of weapons, ammunition, explosive belts, communications devices, and various logistical materials.
