The Iraqi Ministry of Education announced yesterday the dates of the mid-year exams and final exams for the final and non-final grades (first round) and preliminary exams for external students for the academic year 2024/2025 for all academic levels .
The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, explained in a statement that the oral exams begin a week before the beginning of the written exams and during official working hours .
The Minister set January 13, 2025, until January 21, 2025, as the date for holding exams for primary and secondary studies .
He also set a two-week spring break, starting from January 22nd until February 5th .
The mid-year exams for those who have postponed their studies for the final and non-final grades will be held in the second week of the start of the official school year and for one week only.
