The Secretary-General of the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades confirmed yesterday , Wednesday, that the Brigades doubt the negotiations being held under the auspices of the American envoy Amos Hochstein to cease fire between the Lebanese Hezbollah and Israel in Lebanon, stressing support for the unity of the arenas and the cohesion of the resistance forces .
The Secretary-General of the Kataeb, Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi, explained during an interview he conducted with the party’s media department: “The Great Satan, the United States, has brought nothing but destruction, deception and fraud,” he said, stressing that the final decision regarding the negotiations rests with the brothers in Hezbollah, who have the ability to determine their immediate and future interests .
Regarding the impact of the negotiations on the unity of the arenas between the resistance forces, Al-Hamidawi indicated that Hezbollah will not ignore the issues of the Arab nation, especially the issue of Gaza, adding that the Lebanese resistance will not neglect its obligations towards the oppressed peoples .
Commenting on the possible changes after the negotiations, Al-Hamidawi confirmed that the brigades are conducting ongoing discussions internally and with the Iraqi Resistance Coordination, in addition to contacts with Hezbollah, Ansar Allah, and the leaders of the Palestinian resistance, to form a unified position in line with future developments .
He pointed out that the priority is not to leave the Palestinian people alone, and to maintain the unity of the arenas, which he described as “one of the basic rules established by the martyr Qassem Soleimani.” He concluded by saying: “We will remain loyal to those values, and peace is a word from a merciful Lord.”
