The Joint Operations Command announced yesterday , Sunday, that the Iraqi National Intelligence Service had succeeded in arresting one of the wanted “terrorists” involved in the “Speicher” crime, which claimed the lives of innocent Iraqi citizens .
The Security Media Cell stated in a statement: The operation was carried out with precise monitoring and qualitative intelligence efforts outside the Iraqi borders, under the supervision and planning of the Joint Operations Command .
The statement added that the detainee is wanted under a judicial arrest warrant for his involvement in the Speicher crime (in 2014) .
The leadership stressed that the security and intelligence services will continue to pursue all those who have committed crimes against the Iraqis, stressing that the blood of the innocent martyrs will continue to haunt the perpetrators until they receive their just punishment.
