The Security Media Cell announced the killing of 5 ISIS elements in an airstrike that targeted a hideout inside the Hamrin Mountains, within the Kirkuk Operations Sector .
The cell stated in a statement that “the Military Intelligence Directorate, in coordination and cooperation with the targeting cell in the Joint Operations Command, monitored ISIS terrorist elements inside a cave in the Hamrin Mountains within the Kirkuk Operations Command sector .”
She added, “The information resulted in the Air Force carrying out an air strike on the cave using F-16 aircraft , which resulted in its complete destruction and the killing of all the terrorist elements inside.”
