The representative of the therapeutic industries and medical supplies sector in the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Dr. Fadi Al-Atrash, discussed with the Jordanian health attaché in Iraq, Dr. Suleiman Amarin, enhancing cooperation between Jordan and Iraq in the field of therapeutic industries and medical supplies .
According to a statement issued by the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Al-Atrash stressed the endeavor to enhance the presence of the Jordanian product in regional and global markets by strengthening relations with Arab countries, most importantly Iraq, as Jordanian medicine meets all the necessary requirements to enter these markets .
In turn, Amarin stressed the importance of the presence of pharmaceutical industries in the Iraqi market, due to its large production volume and multiple investment opportunities .
He pointed out that the Jordanian industry has a great opportunity to be present in the Iraqi market with the availability of multiple investment incentives such as specialized industrial zones, tax exemptions, and ease of financing from Iraqi banks.
