The head of the Sovereignty Party, Khamis Al-Khanjar, submitted his resignation from the party’s presidency in an official letter addressed to the Independent High Electoral Commission.
While an informed source pointed out that Al-Khanjar submitted his resignation from the presidency of his party, after receiving news of his summons by the Accountability and Justice Commission.
The head of the Sovereignty Alliance, Khamis Al-Khanjar, confirmed that he will continue to demand the rights of Sunni cities to return their displaced people to their depopulated cities, resolve accountability and justice, know the fate of the forcibly disappeared, compensate for destroyed homes, amend the general amnesty law, and achieve balance in state institutions.
