The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region issued 3 directives regarding the salaries of employees and retirees .
The ministry said in a statement that “based on the agreement and understanding between the federal and regional ministries of finance regarding the issue of resolving technical problems in the payrolls of Kurdistan employees and retirees, the following must be done :
1 – All employees, retirees, people with special needs, and families of martyrs who have not yet registered in the biometric system must register in it, and the last day for that is November 20 .
2 – The decision to register in the biometric system includes all employees without exception.
3- Any person receiving a salary in the Kurdistan government who has not obtained a biometric code from the Ministry of Finance in the region until November 20, his salary will be stopped and he is responsible for that.
