A security source reported yesterday , Tuesday, the launch of a military operation by the Counter-Terrorism Service, supported by air cover, in Kirkuk Governorate .
confirmed that “the operation included specific areas, including the mountain range in the governorate, to prevent any activity by terrorist groups .”
The source added, “The security force raided dens and hideouts belonging to ISIS, with Iraqi air cover from the Iraqi Air Force .”
The source did not reveal the results of the military operation.
