On Monday, the Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it had carried out a military response to the Israeli “violations”, targeting the Israeli army’s Ruwaysat al-Alam site in the Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills .
Hezbollah said in a statement that “following the repeated violations initiated by the Israeli enemy of the cessation of hostilities agreement announced to come into effect at dawn on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, which take various forms, including firing on civilians and airstrikes in various parts of Lebanon, which led to the martyrdom of citizens and the injury of others .”
He pointed out that “the enemy Israeli aircraft continued to violate Lebanese airspace, reaching the capital Beirut, and since the reviews of the relevant authorities to stop these violations did not succeed, the Islamic Resistance carried out an initial warning defensive response on Monday evening, targeting the Ruwaysat al-Alam site belonging to the Israeli enemy army in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills .”
It is noteworthy that the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel entered into force at dawn on Wednesday, November 27, after more than a year of clashes between Hezbollah and Israeli forces .
