A security source in Nineveh Governorate reported, yesterday evening, Sunday, that 3 children were killed and 2 other people were injured in an explosive device explosion west of Mosul .
The source said, ” Three children from one family were killed by the explosion of an explosive device left behind by ISIS, and two people were injured inside an abandoned house near the village of Sweti, in the Al-Baaj district, west of Mosul .”
The source added that the family were “shepherds who settled in the area and lived in a house that had been abandoned for years before the explosive device exploded inside the house.”
