Mosul Club returned with a valuable victory from Aqra Stadium, its supposed home ground, after defeating the Peshmerga team with a score of 4-2 in the Iraqi Premier League football competition.
Although the first half ended with Mosul leading by one goal, the team was able to consolidate its victory in the second half by scoring three goals during regular time, while the Peshmerga scored its two goals in stoppage time.
Mosul Club is the only traveler in the Premier League, as it plays all its matches outside its home ground due to the damage to its stadiums during the war. The team plays its matches at Aqra Stadium temporarily, while waiting for the completion of the rehabilitation of its stadium in Mosul.
