Mosul Municipality Directorate announced the completion of work on the Wednesday Market project in the heart of Old Mosul .
Engineer Hashem Younis from the Resident Engineer Department in Mosul Municipality said that the municipality has completed 100 % of the market works.
He stated that the opening will be soon, while he pointed out that the market will contribute to bringing life back to the old city as it is located in the Bab al-Tob area, in addition to being one of the large markets that was built in a modern way that takes into account the ancient Mosul heritage.
