MP Latif Al-Warshaan called Representatives and members of the Nineveh Provincial Council to put public interests before factional interests in order to resolve disputes within the Provincial Council .
Al-Warshaan said in a statement to Mosul Time Radio, “It is necessary to resolve the disputes of the Nineveh Provincial Council that have been going on for months in order to provide services to citizens .”
Al-Warshaan added, “The pending files and local administration problems must be resolved .”
Al-Warshaan urged “the members of the Nineveh Provincial Council, from various forces, to settle political differences in a manner consistent with national responsibility,” stressing “the need to address the repercussions of these differences on the service reality and to advance the wheel of construction and development.” He also called on the members of the Sovereignty Party in the Provincial Council to “hold a meeting to discuss ways to overcome the current crisis in the local government .”
