The Iraqi National Security Service announced, on Friday, the elimination of a terrorist wearing an explosive belt in Kirkuk Governorate .
The statement of the device stated: “The Iraqi National Security Service (Counter-Terrorism Cell, in coordination with the Kirkuk Security Directorate and the Tactical Regiment) carried out a heroic operation that resulted in the elimination of a terrorist who was wearing an explosive belt in Daquq District .”
He added, “The operation was based on accurate intelligence information and judicial approvals, and the terrorist was surrounded and eliminated before he could blow himself up.”
