A security source in Nineveh reported yesterday , Friday, the arrival of a new batch of ISIS families to the Al-Jadaa camp in southern Mosul, coming from the Syrian Al-Hawl camp, as part of the rehabilitation program.

The source said , “The Iraqi forces received the 20th batch of ISIS families who were transferred from Al-Hawl camp in Syria to Al-Jadaa camp in the Qayyarah district, south of Mosul. This batch includes 81 families, totaling 360 individuals.”

The source explained that “60% of the families are originally from Nineveh Governorate, 20% from Anbar, and 20% from the Baghdad Belt, Kirkuk, and Salah al-Din areas.”

This initiative comes within the context of the ongoing cooperation between the Iraqi government and the Syrian Democratic Forces to rehabilitate families associated with ISIS, and is part of a long-term strategy to address the repercussions of the conflict with the organization in Iraq and Syria.
