US reports indicated that Iran informed Arab countries of its intention to carry out a “strong and complex” attack against Israel, in response to the recent Israeli attack that led to the killing of 4 Iranian soldiers and a civilian.
According to the American newspaper, The Wall Street Journal, the Iranian response plan to Israel includes stronger warheads and other weapons, and that it may target Israeli military facilities more aggressively than the previous time.
The Wall Street Journal quoted an Iranian official as saying that the response to Israel will come after the US election, but before the inauguration of the new president.
The Iranian official indicated that Iran may use Iraqi territory as part of the operation and is likely to target Israeli military installations “but more forcefully and effectively than the previous time.”
