Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil announced yesterday , Saturday, that the completion rate of the Oncology and Cancer Hospital in Mosul has reached 92 percent .

Al-Dakhil said, “Work at the Oncology and Cancer Hospital is currently proceeding rapidly, with the hope of completing it in the next two or three months .”

Al-Dakhil explained that “the completion rate of the Umm Al-Rabi’een Emergency Hospital on the right side of Mosul has reached 95 percent .”

He pointed out that this hospital is about to open, as part of the reconstruction work of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex on the right side, which previously included more than 2,000 beds, noting that “work will soon begin on the Ibn Sina Hospital project with a capacity of 600 beds .”

For his part, Nineveh Health Director Dilshad Ali Abdullah announced that work on the Oncology and Cancer Hospital project is proceeding well and at an accelerated pace .

Abdullah said, “The project is scheduled to be completed next April,” indicating that “the hospital contains 3 linear accelerators from the latest international manufacturers.”
