The head of Nineveh Provincial Council, Ahmed Al-Hasoud, called on the political blocs in the province to sit at the dialogue table and end the political crisis that the province is witnessing.

Al-Hasoud said in a statement that he calls on all political blocs in Nineveh Governorate to sit at the dialogue table in order to end the differences and the current political crisis.

Al-Hasoud pointed out that the differences will not serve the interests of Nineveh or the provincial council, and that the political forces must work to end these differences immediately in order to focus attention on rebuilding and serving the province.

For its part, the Nineveh Future Bloc confirmed its rejection of the campaign of defamation and targeting of the presidency of the Nineveh Provincial Council.

The head of the bloc in the Nineveh Council, Mohammed Ahris, said that the statements and attempts to target the council presidency are completely unacceptable, stressing that Nineveh cannot tolerate conflicts, political escalation, and the transfer of political conflicts to within the province.

The head of the Nineveh Future Bloc in the Nineveh Council, Mohammed Ahris, called on the Nineveh United and Kurdistan Democratic blocs to end their boycott of the sessions, return to attending the sessions, and end the current disputes witnessed in Nineveh Governorate.
