Nineveh Provincial Council decided to oblige the Contracts Committee to announce the names of 17050 contracts and publish them within 10 days, due to the long delay.
Council member Hisham Al-Hashemi said, “The provincial council held its 24th regular session, and discussed a number of important issues, the most prominent of which was a request we submitted that included hosting the committee tasked with announcing the names of contracts 17050, whose announcement was delayed for a long time.”
He added, “There is a need to know the reasons for this delay that affected thousands of applicants,” indicating that “after listening to the committee’s position, the council voted to oblige it to publish the names of the contract winners within only 10 days, holding it responsible for any delay that occurs after this period.”
It is noteworthy that the job grades for the 17050 contracts were launched several months ago amidst intense media coverage and great public interest, while families are still awaiting the results of the announcement.
