Yesterday, Monday, the Nineveh Criminal Court issued a seven-year prison sentence against a convict for the crime of tampering and forgery in state property files .
The Judicial Council said in a statement that “the convict had tampered with the files of state-owned properties .”
He added that “the ruling against him was issued based on the provisions of Article 36 of the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Law No. 39 of 2015 and in accordance with Article 2/first, second and third thereof.”
