Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil revealed yesterday , Monday, that the governorate’s share of car fuel had been increased by one million liters, describing Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani’s visit to Nineveh as “positive .”
Al-Dakhil said, “Al-Sudani’s previous visits left a positive impact in Nineveh, and the recent visit brings good news for the people of the province .”
He explained that “Nineveh’s share of fuel was increased from two and a half million liters of gasoline to three and a half million liters, and the governorate’s share of kerosene to operate electric generators was increased to 10 liters per one KV , and the share of liquid gas was increased from 500 thousand tons to 700 thousand tons .”
Al-Dakhil pointed out that “Al-Sudani promised to support the local government’s plans and projects in the reconstruction file, providing services, and establishing development projects, as the number of stalled projects in Nineveh was reduced from 100 projects to only 8 projects .”
The day before yesterday, Sunday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, during his visit to Nineveh Governorate, laid the foundation stone for a number of projects and followed up on a number of projects implemented in the governorate .
The Prime Minister announced that the tenth of next June will be the date for the opening of Mosul Airport, and Al-Sudani also set the tenth of next December as the date for the opening of the local administration stadium in the Bab Sinjar area on the right side of Mosul city .
Al-Sudani also laid the foundation stone for the riverfront project and the reconstruction of the old city in Mosul, and the foundation stone for the thermal power plant project in the Shura district with a capacity of 1,400 megawatts, which will be implemented in several phases.
