Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil confirmed that advanced rates of completion have been recorded in hospital projects that were destroyed by ISIS terrorist gangs in Mosul and other cities, while revealing the launch of other projects for implementation in 5 administrative units during the current government’s term, noting that the wheel of reconstruction is turning rapidly with great support from Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani .
The intruder said “The wheel of reconstruction is turning rapidly in Nineveh Governorate thanks to the great support of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, and advanced rates of achievement have been achieved in rehabilitating many hospitals destroyed during the period of ISIS gangs and establishing new ones .”
He added, “New projects to build hospitals have been launched in a number of administrative units, especially in Rabia, Qayyarah, Sinjar, Tel Keppe and Bashiqa, and soon we will launch new projects in Hatra and Sinuni .”
Regarding current electricity projects, he explained that “we have strategic projects in the city of Mosul as well as the governorate, including the thermal energy project south of Mosul, which was awarded to Chinese companies through the framework agreement with Iraq .”
He stated that “the project is being implemented in two phases, the first with a capacity of 700 megawatts and the second with the same size, so the total is 1,400 megawatts, and it will contribute to strengthening the energy supply file in the city.”
