The Nineveh Roads and Bridges Directorate announced that it will close the third bridge, starting at six in the evening, yesterday, Saturday.
The directorate added that the bridge will be closed in both lanes, as technical and engineering personnel will begin maintaining the bridge.
The maintenance process comes after widespread appeals from the people of Mosul, due to the bumps and ripples in the two paths of the bridge.
