The performances of Othman Al-Mawsili, performed by the artist Amer Younes in Tunisia, were well received by the audience there, and they were dazzled after performing some of the songs on the Iraqi Cultural Day .
Younes said in his speech that “the Mosul String Orchestra, led by Maestro Mohamed Mahmoud, arrived in Tunisia and began rehearsals immediately upon arrival in preparation for the major central concert held by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities in Tunisia, in the presence of the Minister of Culture Ahmed Al-Fakak and the Director of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization Mohamed Ould Aafar, in addition to the presence of ministers, diplomats, artistic figures and a large audience .”
folklore and heritage songs , and others from the Mosul heritage, including the songs of Mulla Othman al-Mawsili, which are among the most important genres that I perform at festivals inside and outside Iraq .”
Younes pointed out that, “The Tunisian audience got to know the special downloads of Mulla Othman Al-Mawsili, and that he used to alert the writer and composer of the lyrics in every song I performed on stage, including the song (Fawq Al-Nakhl Fawq and Al-Rawzana Al-Rawzana and the song Zouroni Kul Sana Marra and Qadak Al-Mayas Ya Omri) and other songs that the audience admired and were amazed by the performance that they always crave for and for all Iraqi art.”
