Our Olympic team defeated its Ukrainian counterpart with a score of (2-1) in the first round matches of the Olympic Games – Paris 2024 .
The Ukrainian team started scoring through Valentin Rubchinsky in the 53rd minute , while our Olympic team was able to adjust the score through Ayman Hussein through a penalty kick in the 57th minute, while Ali Jassim scored the winning goal for our team in the 75th minute of the match .
With this victory, the Iraqi Olympic team achieved the first three points in its second group .
