Member of Parliament Muzahim Al-Khayat called on the Nineveh Council to expedite the election of a chairman for the Investment Authority in the province .
Al-Khayyat pointed out that the delay in selecting the head of the Investment Authority in the governorate has greatly disrupted the investment file .
called for resolving this issue and moving towards launching important investment opportunities and projects.
Earlier, Nineveh Provincial Council member Mohammed Haris revealed that the provincial council is planning to withdraw investment licenses from companies that have delayed implementing projects in Nineveh province. Haris said in a statement to the Mosul Talk program broadcast by Mosul Time Radio that the council will move to withdraw licenses from companies that have delayed implementing projects, following the vote on the head of the Nineveh Investment Authority. Haris explained that investment in Nineveh is completely suspended because of those companies that are delaying implementation.
