The Iraqi Resistance Coordination Committee threatened yesterday , Tuesday, to bomb American bases and interests in Iraq in the event of an attack on Iran .
A statement by the “Resistance Coordination” stated that “if the Americans intervene in any hostile action against the Islamic Republic or if the Zionist enemy uses Iraqi airspace to carry out any bombing operations on its territory, all American bases and interests in Iraq and the region will be our target (and there is no escape) “.
This threat comes after the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced, yesterday , Tuesday, that it had begun striking important military targets in the heart of Israel with dozens of missiles, in response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, Hassan Nasrallah, and Nilforoushan .
The Revolutionary Guards said in an official statement, “This operation that we carried out came based on a decision issued by the Iranian Supreme National Security Council, and with direct support from the Iranian army .”
The statement indicated that the missile attack came as a retaliatory step against the enemy, following the martyrdom of these leaders who are considered symbols of the resistance .
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard also threatened that any Israeli military response to this operation would be met with more destructive and stronger attacks, indicating that this is the first wave of attacks .
