Mosul was honored by the visit of the scholar Sheikh and Islamic preacher Muhammad Rateb Al-Nabulsi, one of the most prominent scholars calling for moderation and the teachings of the Islamic religion. Sheikh Al-Nabulsi participated in the Mosul International Book Fair and held awareness lectures in the city of Mosul. The scholar Sheikh stressed the need for brotherhood and cooperation between Muslims in general on the one hand and Iraqis on the other hand due to the common denominators that unite them. For his part, the Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil, described Sheikh Muhammad Rateb Al-Nabulsi’s visit to the city of Mosul as historic. Al-Dakhil said that Mosul was honored by the visit of Sheikh Al-Nabulsi, indicating that Mosul is hosting the book fair with the participation of more than 10 countries, which has an important and positive impact on the city.
