 The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the “barbaric” Israeli “attack” that targeted the “Al-Tabaeen” school at dawn yesterday, Saturday, in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza City, which led to the death of more than 100 Palestinians and the injury of dozens of “innocent ” civilians.

The Ministry said in a statement today, “These repeated attacks against civilians are a flagrant violation of all international norms and conventions, including international law and international humanitarian law. They also show the Israeli entity’s disregard for international initiatives aimed at stopping the aggression against Gaza .”

The statement stressed the need for “the international community, and Islamic countries in particular, to take a firm and unified stance to stop these ongoing Israeli crimes and provide immediate protection to the defenseless Palestinian people .”

In turn, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani condemned the massacre carried out by the “occupation” forces that targeted Palestinian worshipers at the Al-Taba’een School in Gaza .

For his part, Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, described the Israeli army’s bombing of the school as “a tragedy and a disgrace to the countries of the world that took silence as their title when the massacres and horrific scenes of the usurping entity were repeated, and did not take a brave and firm stance, as they may be an accomplice in the killing of innocent people in Palestine.” “.

The Palestinian News Agency reported that more than 100 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured, at dawn on Saturday, as a result of an Israeli bombing of the Al-Tabaeen School, which houses displaced people in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza City .

Commenting on the attack, the Israeli army said in a statement: “Under the guidance of IDF and Shin Bet intelligence, the Israeli Air Force accurately struck Hamas terrorists operating inside the movement’s command and control center located in the Al-Tabaeen School, which serves as a shelter for the residents of Gaza City .”
