A government source revealed, yesterday, Friday, the resignation of Nizar Amedi, Minister of Environment in the government of Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, from his position .
According to the source, the decision to resign Amedi came after a decision and consultation in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, so that he would devote himself to party work in the capital, Baghdad .
The source explained that “the position is the share of the National Union, according to the political distribution when forming the government, and it is planned to present another candidate to fill the position at a later time.”
