Ahmed Al-Sharaa, chose “Marhaf Abu Qasra” as Minister of Defense in the Syrian Interim Government .
Abu Qasra holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering, and has worked as a military capabilities engineer in the liberated areas since the start of armed operations, where he led most of the operations .
Al-Sharaa said in a statement, “All military factions will be merged into one institution under the management of the Ministry of Defense in the new Syrian army, in a step aimed at unifying the military forces and organizing them within an institutional framework .”
And yesterday, Saturday, the General Command in Syria announced Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani was assigned to take over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs portfolio in the Syrian Interim Government, and Aisha Al-Debs was appointed as the head of the Women’s Affairs Office.
