Mosul Time Radio / The Department of Dramatic Arts at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul was able to obtain first place in the University Theater Festival, which was held in Babil Governorate with the participation of 27 Iraqi universities. The head of the delegation, Dr. Musaab Ibrahim Muhammad, said, “The Department of Dramatic Arts at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul won first place among Iraqis in the University Theater Festival, which was held by the Supervision and Evaluation Service at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which was held in Babil Governorate, with the participation of 27 Iraqi universities.” Muhammad, an assistant professor at the College of Arts, explained that the participation was through the Department of Dramatic Arts by presenting the play (The Song of the Dream), written by Antoine Chekhov and directed by the student David Zucker Touma. The acting is represented by Hakam Manhal Muhammad and Tamara Nizar Muhammad, and in the lighting is Rahma Mahmoud Zuhair.
