In a very important step, the College of Medicine at the University of Mosul obtained national accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq .
This came after the Mosul College of Medicine had previously obtained full accreditation from the Jordanian Commission for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions and Quality Assurance .
are licensed by the World Federation for Medical Education ( WFME ) , and thus the College of Medicine at the University of Mosul is unique in this distinction at the level of medical colleges in Iraq , as it is the only college among 24 medical colleges in Iraq. You obtain full accreditation from the two institutions above.
