Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil announced About addressing 119 lagging projects out of 141 projects in the governorate .

Al-Dakhil said in a press statement , “Dozens of lagging projects have been stalled since 2023 in Nineveh Governorate, but the majority have been addressed through the efforts of the planning and reconstruction assistants and supporting bodies from the service departments .”

Al-Dakhil explained, “By the end of this year, Nineveh Governorate will be free of lagging projects after it included 141 lagging projects in November 2023, most of which have been addressed , and only 24 projects remain that we are working to address .”

Al-Dakhil added: “There is no place for lagging companies in Nineveh, and we have drawn up a blacklist for some companies that have negative indicators,” stressing, “We are committed to continuing the reconstruction process in Nineveh and advancing it, as lagging actions negatively affect the workflow that we want to achieve without disrupting it.” “
