Member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Aref Al-Hamami, confirmed that the Presidency of the House of Representatives will call on the members of the House to resume the sessions and hold a session on Monday or Tuesday of this week.

Al-Hamami said that the first or second session will witness voting on a number of important laws, including the Personal Status Law and the General Amnesty Law.

He added that “the Personal Status Law is ready for voting,” noting that “the general amnesty law needs a simple amendment, after which it will be approved.”
