Minister of Culture Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani announced that the Mosul Hotel was granted an investment opportunity by the National Investment Commission. Al-Badrani told Mosul Time Radio that the National Investment Commission in Baghdad granted the investment opportunity to the Mosul Hotel due to the lack of a commission in Mosul after it was sent by the Tourism Commission almost a year ago. Regarding the Nineveh Oberoi Hotel, the Minister of Culture confirmed the difficulty of resolving it at the present time, indicating that the hotel file is still in court until now, and pointed out that the ministry lost lawsuits against the hotel more than five times and several months ago it won the lawsuit, but the investor appealed the lawsuit in the Courts of Cassation in Baghdad and it is still unresolved. Minister Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani pointed out that he, the ministry, the Nineveh Governorate, and the Presidency of Nineveh Courts are following up on the Nineveh Hotel issue.
