The Ministry of Education announced, yesterday , Wednesday, the resumption of evening studies at the Mosul Institute of Fine Arts for the academic year 2024-2025 after a 16- year hiatus .
The ministry said in a statement: “Evening studies have been resumed at the Institute of Fine Arts for the current academic year, and (350) Mosul art students have been received with intensive support for the arts and close follow-up by the Permanent Ministerial Committee for Monitoring Fine Arts Institutes, which visited the institute building and was informed of the progress of studies there .”
He added, “This step supports the dreams of young people and aims to achieve their ambitions and hone their talents in the field of authentic Iraqi arts .”
The statement continued, “It is worth noting that the institute has not witnessed an opening for more than (16) years in Nineveh, and now it is regaining its health again thanks to the combined efforts of the ministers.”
