The Nineveh Governorate Council voted on more than 17,000 job contracts, excluding 1,000 contracts for Sinjar District, to support its stability.
A member of the Nineveh Provincial Council, Hisham Al-Hashemi, said, “The Nineveh Council voted today on 17,500 job contracts, distributed according to the population density of the administrative units in Nineveh.”
Al-Hashemi explained that “the Council also voted, within the same issue, to cancel all exceptions except for the Sinjar district, which was granted a thousand job grades for all components to support the stability of the judiciary,” noting that “50 job contracts were awarded to Nineveh Airport.”
He added, “16,000 contracts will be distributed among the districts and districts according to population ratios, and a committee will be formed from the council to monitor.”
