US President-elect Donald Trump expressed his desire to work positively with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and meet soon.

Trump announced during a phone call he received from Al-Sudani, according to a statement issued by his office, his desire to discuss expanding relations between Iraq and the United States of America and work on these common files.

According to the statement, Al-Sudani congratulated Trump and the American people on winning the elections and the great confidence that the American people have given him.
