Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed, today, Thursday , to facilitate the completion of treatment for a child victim of terrorism outside Iraq .
The Prime Minister’s media office said in a statement that “Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received the injured orphan child (Abdul Salam), a 9-year-old victim of terrorism, accompanied by the citizen Munhal Ahmed Akleh, who is responsible for his care, and is a member of the Iraqi army, after he saved him during the battles to liberate Mosul, and saved a number of other children .”
The statement explained that “the Prime Minister followed up on the health condition of the child who sustained two serious injuries during the battles and lost his parents. He had previously undergone surgical operations under the auspices of the Prime Minister and international humanitarian organizations. He directed the relevant authorities to facilitate the completion of his treatment outside Iraq and to arrange travel to Spain to complete the operations .”
According to the statement, the Prime Minister also directed “the Iraqi Embassy in Madrid to provide all necessary assistance, and a sum of money was allocated to cover travel and accommodation procedures during treatment.”
