The Ministry of Education announced yesterday, Sunday , the start of school hours for the 2024 academic year.
The ministry confirmed that the school year began with the arrival of about 12 million female and male students to schools throughout Iraq.
Earlier, the Ministry of Education announced that it had completed its preparations for the new school year, and the ministry’s spokesman, Karim Al-Sayed, said, “The Ministry of Education’s preparations for this year are better than those of previous years . ”
He pointed out that “preparations have been made on many levels, including printing and preparing books early, after they had been in short supply in previous years . “
He added, “The printing presses delivered the curriculum books to the general directorates and from there to the schools, and in the schools’ warehouses there are printed books ready for distribution.”
