The Iraqi Ministry of Transport has directed the separation of the management of all airports from the General Company for Airports and Air Navigation Management, and linking them to the Ministry .
A document signed by the Director of the Office of the Minister of Transport, Hussein Mohsen Khuraibet, and titled “Separation of Airport Management from the General Company for Airport Management and Air Navigation ” is shown .
She added, “Based on the Minister’s directives dated November 18, regarding your memorandum No. (779) dated November 17, the Minister attributed, based on the Prime Minister’s directive, the separation of Iraqi airports from the General Air Navigation Company and linking them to the Ministry of Transport/Technical Department and at the level of the Directorate .”
She continued: “Therefore, he should write to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers/Legal Department regarding this content and in accordance with what is stated in paragraphs (second, third) of the attached minutes.”
