The Ministry of Transport announced, yesterday evening, Monday, that the seismic observatories of the Meteorological Authority recorded an earthquake west of Mosul in Nineveh Governorate .
The ministry said in a statement: “The seismic observatories of the Meteorological Authority recorded an earthquake west of Mosul, near the city of Tal Afar in Nineveh Governorate, with a magnitude of 3.3 degrees .”
The statement added that “the earthquake was felt by citizens living near it.”
