Republican Donald Trump has declared a “historic victory” in the US presidential election.
Trump said in his victory speech that his party had won the Senate majority, had won the swing states, and had become the 47th president of the United States.
Trump vowed: “This is a tremendous victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again,” describing his victory for a new presidential term as “a historic and political victory the likes of which the United States has never seen before.”
