A security source in Nineveh reported yesterday that a Turkish drone targeted a vehicle belonging to the “Sinjar Protection Forces” on Sinjar Mountain .
The source said, “The Turkish drone bombed a vehicle belonging to the Sinjar Protection Forces, loyal to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, on Sinjar Mountain, killing two people who were riding in the vehicle .”
He pointed out that “the identities of the two victims have not been identified due to the severity of the burns resulting from the explosion .”
Earlier, the Kurdistan Region’s Counter-Terrorism Service announced the killing of 3 members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, including a leader, in a bombing carried out by a Turkish drone on Saturday evening .
The agency explained in a statement that the airstrike targeted a vehicle belonging to the party in the village of “Kalil” in the “Jamanki” district in the Amadiyah district, north of Dohuk Governorate.
